I don’t think I have the original post any longer in my archives, but I shared this video when it first came out. It was plain as day then that the church was being infiltrated by those who meant to harm it.
People got mad at me. People thought I was old-fashioned. Out of step with the times. Didn’t care about the “needs” of the younger generations. I mean, I was old back then. I was in my early 40s. What did I know?
Look back approximately twelve years to when this came out. How many of the “rising stars” in the contemporary, relevant, emergent, etc. movements are still faithfully spreading and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ today? How many have “deconstructed their faith” in order to be acceptable to the culture and are not even Christians? How many were wolves in sheep’s clothing? How many negatively impacted the faith of people who trusted them? How many were there to deliberately infiltrate and weaken local churches?
Look around you today and try to tell me the movement being mocked in this video didn’t play a significant role in why we are in the mess we’re in today in the church and this country.
Not many of those people are still there or sharing Jesus Christ today. There are still those mocking and harming the church.
