If you are a subscriber, you know that I shut this website down last week and redirected it. I pulled apart all kinds of things on the back end. I moved dozens of posts to publish on my other website. When I said I was mothballing this, I was serious. I spent hours pulling things apart.
And yet here we are.
The following is from the email I sent just now to subscribers. (If you aren’t a subscriber, you can do so here: Subscribe.)
So apparently it’s not time to shut down Sallie’s Rebuilding America. If you want to hear the story, you can listen to Fireside Chat 2 on my other website and it will make sense.
Let’s just say that over the past few years my appreciation for the Old Testament prophets has grown tremendously. Obviously I’m not one of them and have always made it clear I do not claim to be any kind of prophet. However, the weariness and feeling as though you are banging your head against the wall as you try to call out to people and warn them while evil leadership around you tries to undermine everything you do? Yes. I totally understand that in a much more significant way now.
The war isn’t over and apparently my job with Sallie’s Rebuilding America isn’t done. If you value what I’m doing, prayers are greatly appreciated.
And so we soldier on.
