A significant shift has been happening in evangelicalism in recent years, especially since the 2016 election. I’ve highlighted some of it in my forums All Things Woke in the Church and Wise As Serpents, Gentle As Doves. This video fits right in with those themes.
(I’ve decided to start featuring some of these videos in actual posts rather than dropping them in the forum so more people see them. This is the first one. I may feature a few a week or a few a day. Whenever I find something worth your time, I’ll share it. They might be about any topic I write about here on my website.)
AD Robles addresses a tweet from Jonathan Leeman (Editorial Director of 9Marks) regarding building a platform on criticism. Robles discusses how Big Eva (Big Evangelicalism) has abandoned the average people in the pews. He address the parasitic nature of The Gospel Coalition, T4G, 9Marks, etc.
This video I did ties right in with it: Why Are High Profile Christians Bending the Knee and Embracing the False Woke Gospel? {Sallie Video}
Big Eva is bending the knee to the culture because they crave the adulation and approval of the cultural elite. They don’t honestly care about the average person in the pew. I think Robles is correct in what he says here. The average Christian is looking to other average believers for encouragement and truth. They no longer trust Big Eva and their front men (and women).
